WEEKEND CHIAROSCURO PER ALBERTO FORATO IN FINLANDIA
VANTAA (FI) – Weekend di alti e bassi per Alberto Forato.
Allo start del quattordicesimo gran premio del campionato mondiale di motocross MXGP, presente come di consueto anche il team SM ACTION YUASA BATTERY, che per l’occasione schiera il solo Alberto Forato nella classe MXGP.
Nella giornata del sabato, con la presenza delle sole classi MX2 ed MXGP in questo gran premio, durante le prove cronometrate un violento acquazzone si è abbattuto sul tracciato. Alberto è comunque riuscito ad ottenere un ottimo quinto crono per presentarsi al cancelletto nella gara di qualifica.
Durante la manche di qualifica il veneto ha messo in mostra le sue potenzialità, seppur con una brutta partenza, ed ha transitato alla bandiera a scacchi in nona piazza.
La giornata della domenica è stata caratterizzata da un buon afflusso di pubblico è un meteo per lo più soleggiato, con temperature ottimali. Gara uno è stata una delle migliori dell’anno: con una discreta partenza e degli ottimi sorpassi, Alberto ha terminato in settima posizione, dopo aver superato nelle battute finali Jeffrey Herlings.
In gara due, invece, dopo una brutta partenza Alberto ha rimontato nei primi giri ma è incappato in una caduta che lo ha costretto a ripartire dal fondo della classifica, e ha terminato alla bandiera a scacchi in diciottesima posizione.
La somma dei risultati lo vede in dodicesima posizione nel GP della Finlandia, decisamente un risultato non congruo alle qualità del pilota.
Ritroveremo Alberto Forato e il team SM ACTION YUASA BATTERY nella prossima tappa del campionato mondiale MXGP in Svezia, a Uddevalla.

LIGHT DARK WEEKEND FOR ALBERTO FORATO IN FINLAND
VANTAA (FI) – Weekend of ups and downs for Alberto Forato.
At the start of the fourteenth grand prix of the MXGP motocross world championship, the SM ACTION YUASA BATTERY team was also present as usual, which for the occasion lined up only Alberto Forato in the MXGP class.
On Saturday, with the presence of only the MX2 and MXGP classes in this Grand Prix, a violent downpour hit the track during time practice. Alberto still managed to get an excellent fifth time to show up at the gate in the qualifying race.
During the qualifying heat, the Venetian showed off his potential, albeit with a bad start, and passed the checkered flag in ninth place.
Sunday was characterized by a good crowd and mostly sunny weather, with optimal temperatures. Race one was one of the best of the year: with a decent start and some excellent overtaking, Alberto finished in seventh position, after overtaking Jeffrey Herlings in the final stages.
In race two, on the other hand, after a bad start, Alberto reassembled in the first laps but ran into a crash that forced him to start from the bottom of the classification, finishing in eighteenth position.
The sum of the results sees him in twelfth position in the GP of Finland, definitely a result not congruous to the qualities of the rider.
We will meet again Alberto Forato and the SM ACTION YUASA BATTERY team in the next stage of the MXGP world championship in Sweden, in Uddevalla.
