FORATO SFIORA LA TOP FIVE NELL’INFERNO DI SABBIA A LOMMEL
LOMMEL (BE) – Un ottimo weekend per il team SM ACTION YUASA BATTERY KTM.
Nello storico tracciato belga il team non si è fatto trovare impreparato, e ancora una volta è sceso in pista: a difendere i colori della squadra modenese sono presenti Federico Tuani in MX2 ed Alberto Forato nella MXGP.
Partendo dal sabato, dove i piloti hanno affrontato le prove libere, prove cronometrate e gara di qualifica, i portacolori del team non hanno sfigurato.
Qualche errore di troppo ha fatto sì che Forato non riuscisse ad andare oltre alla diciannovesima posizione nella gara di qualifica, mentre Tuani non riesce ad andare oltre alla venticinquesima posizione.
La giornata della domenica, caratterizzata da un tempo nuvoloso intervallato dalla pioggia forte, è stata una buona giornata per il team: in gara uno della classe MX2 Tuani si è messo in mostra raccogliendo quanto di buono visto a Loket, in Repubblica Ceca, ottenendo un ottimo diciottesimo posto dopo una bella rimonta e degli ottimi sorpassi. In gara due dopo una buona gara termina invece in venticinquesima posizione, la somma delle due gare lo vede al ventiduesimo posto assoluto del gran premio.
Forato, invece, dimostra che al sabato avrebbe potuto raccogliere molto di più e dimostra una gran velocità in entrambe le gare: in gara uno dopo una partenza non entusiasmante compie numerosi sorpassi, e transita alla bandiera a scacchi in sesta posizione, a un passo dalla top five. In gara due il Veneto ancora una volta non c’entra la partenza, ma compie una gran rimonta e termina in settima posizione. La somma dei due risultati lo vede al sesto posto assoluto nel gran premio del Belgio, a un passo dalla top five.
Ritroveremo il team impegnato nella trasferta in Finlandia in previsione per la prossima settimana.

In the historic Belgian track, the team was not found unprepared, and once again took to the track: Federico Tuani in MX2 and Alberto Forato in MXGP defended the colors of the Modena team.
Starting from Saturday, where the riders faced free practice, timed practice and the qualifying race, the team’s standard bearers did not disfigure.
A few too many errors meant that Forato was unable to go beyond the nineteenth position in the qualifying race, while Tuani was unable to go beyond the twenty-fifth position.
Sunday, characterized by cloudy weather interspersed with heavy rain, was a good day for the team: in race one of the MX2 class Tuani showed off collecting the good things seen in Loket, in the Czech Republic, obtaining an excellent eighteenth place after a good comeback and excellent overtaking. In race two, after a good race, he finishes in twenty-fifth position, the sum of the two races sees him in twenty-second place overall in the grand prix.
Forato, on the other hand, demonstrates that on Saturday he could have collected much more and demonstrates great speed in both races: in race one, after an uninspiring start, he makes numerous overtakes, and passes the checkered flag in sixth position, one step away from the top five. In race two, Veneto once again has nothing to do with the start, but makes a great comeback and finishes in seventh position. The sum of the two results sees him in sixth place overall in the Belgian Grand Prix, one step away from the top five.
